Ryan Lindgren and Jimmy Vesey were traded to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Juuso Pärssinen and Calvin de Haan. Lindgren’s departure has notably impacted defenseman Adam Fox, who is adjusting to playing without his long-time partner. Fox expressed that the trade was challenging and that he misses Lindgren’s presence on the ice.
Kaapo Kakko’s tenure with the Rangers concluded when he was traded to the Seattle Kraken in exchange for defenseman Will Borgen and two draft picks. Despite showing potential during his six years in New York, Kakko never fully realized his top-six potential. The trade aims to provide both Kakko and Borgen with fresh opportunities to excel in new environments.
